@ Katchdun4115 You didn't say if you have a Mac - or a PC running Windows (or something else) I like to use ipod.itunes on a Mac. http://www.crispsofties.com/iPod.iTunes.html There's other solutions, and searching for what you want "copy songs from iPhone to computer" will give you plenty of other possibilities. Another link to the Lifehacker web site - http://lifehacker.com/5869827/how-to-copy-music-from-your-iphone-ipad-or-ipod-touch-to-your-computer-for-free. If you use Windows, that site suggests "Sharepod" : http://www.getsharepod.com/ I don't use Windows for music, so have...

Read the article How to transfer from Your iPhone to a new Mac. The article points to some programs. If you search carefully you can find a free sync back program somewhere, like DeTune.

Does the Console give you any cause for the crash? Look in the system.log (that's listed by time and date.) While that's open, try to launch Safari, and see what is reported in that log. or in Safari crash log.

Well, I deleted everything on your check list. Restarted the after getting home from work. Clicked on the safari icon, after a few moments it quit. Boy, I'm really surprised the problem still exists!

Create the playlist, and then when the iPhone 4 is connected make sure you click on the iPhone under the left categories. Then click the Music tab, and then select which playlists you want synced. Then you should be good to go after you sync that bear.

If you want transfer songs from one iPhone to another iPhone, you can do it with iTunes Backup Manager export/import feature. Actually you can transfer songs from iPhone to iPhone directly. - Connect two Devices to PC. - Choose the category list of one device that you need to export files. - Check the files that need to export in the Content Panel and click "Transfer file(s) from device to device" button. - All the checked files from one device can be transferred to the other one.

Then, it's not your application (Safari), but some settings files have corrupted. Quit Safari Go into your user folder, then the Library. Find the Safari folder. Delete History.plist and HistoryIndex.sk Delete the LocalStorage folder. Go back to your Library folder. Open the Caches folder, and delete the com.apple.Safari folder. Go back out to your Library folder, and open the Preferences folder. Find and Delete: com.apple.Safari.plist

I downloaded Pacifist. Forgive my ignorance but I couldn't figure out how to use it correctly. My wife tried to help but she was confused as well. So I tried AppZapper & trashed everything it showed reinstalled Safari to see if this would work(nothing to loose). After restarting, I launched Safari but got the same results. I hope I can figure out Pacifist.

My personal pet-hate are the speed-controls on the outgoing roads: you are leaving the city, no buildings anymore, no crossroads and the sign "city-border" is 50 meters ahead of you. You are speeding up and "bang" ... another ticket for exceeding the speed with 10 km/h. Which means just 100 euro's to hand over to our lovely government. They have this system fully automated now: a very small speed camera is placed, the measurement goes wireless to the police department and from there to the "justitieel incassobureau" (a dutch word I cannot translate adequate but it is the centralized...

Thanks. That was really helpful. I'm going to try some of the suggestions for getting quality export from iMovie and if I can't get that to work then I'll try FCPX, for which Apple now offers a free trial.

Pacifist does a better job, it will install all the files to their original locations, overwriting the older existing files. No need for a tedious manual search and delete process.

I'm going to reinstall Safari. I have an app called AppZapper that will bring up a list items that were installed & related to Safari. I can then pick which items to deinstall. Does Pacifist do the same kind of operation?

No updates on Flash Player. I did however reinstall Safari Cookies 1.9.4, & SafariStand 4.0L168 for it was no longer visible in the menu bar.

My suggestion would be to download a new copy of safari Then use Pacifist to replace the defunct copy you have installed.

Another Scotch Ale for me please! Yes I was over ranting about slow corners SUVs (at least here in the US). Plus to open another driver rant it is what I call the "Red Light Sleeper". You have all seen this affect, your about to take a (US) left hand turn (with a green arrow to go) and the first car goes while the next car just sits there for a good 7 to 15 seconds before going. It always get to me why people do this especially on quick light arrows to turn. I was just caught behind one coming home tonight from the grocery store. He didn't move when the green arrow came on and stayed...

Go your Home Folder's Library and select the Preferences and find com.apple.finder.plist and trow it out. Then reboot to see if that helps. Good Luck.

Plus how old is you hard drive? Things like this can point to a something wrong on the old drive. PS- Plus remember the Finder's Preferences (in the Finder menu select the word 'Go' while holding down the 'option' key and select 'Library', Preferences folder. There you can find Finder's Preferences: com.apple.finder.plist and throw that into your Trash can. Then log out and log back in. This will reset Finder's Preferences and might fix the problem. Lastly, are you running any programs to change icons?

I'm not too sure how "SUV" somehow relates to a "military car" And - even the Audi Q7 is a pretty fair example that doesn't need to be nervously steered through a slow corner http://www.ooyyo.net/detail/c=CD5A2F7114D2854F111BFA6FBA75355BE1A01D6617F3844110/9094895030877438774.html/ I can't really speak for Satcomer - but I'm expecting that Satcomer was really talking about the _driver_, and not so much the type of vehicle. I don't know who said:

Aaaah.... Been away a very log time :( So for me a white beer ... SUV's hmm? If you are still driving here (Netherlands) in one of those you will be marked as a "loser". There are not many of them anymore to see. And let's face it: an Audi A8 is a far better looking car ;)
