| From what you've said, it seems like you're not familiar enough with the OS. What exactly is it that you need to use Terminal for? I'm a fairly hardcore user, and I hardly ever use Terminal at all. There are probably standard methods of accomplishing whatever tasks you need that you're not aware of.
As for the rest, I don't know what to say, because I just don't know what you're talking about it. Details would be helpful. WHAT is the Finder "losing"? HOW is it not handling permissions? You can't expect us to know what you mean, because these do not sound like any common problems. It's easy to assume that any problems you have are the norm, or at least common enough for everyone to know, but these are certainly not.
Then again, you didn't really ask for help, so.....if you don't want help, then the lack of details is not a problem. But if you do want help, please be more specific. |
