I'm attempting to work on our company website using Netscape 7.2. I'm uploading pictures and text (double checking formats and sizing), but Netscape keeps quitting unexpectedly. It is ridiculous how many times and how often this is happening.
I can't get anything done, and feel a bit useless.
We just upgraded our system to the new G5, so it's definitely not a memory problem.
At this point, I am open to ANY suggestions. I'm trying to avoid having to pay Netscape to help- I'm a bit frustrated with them.
I REALLY appreciate the help- this is my first time on this site, so I'm jazzed that someone may be able to fix this!
*Okay, really sorry. As stated before, this is my first time here. I guess I jumped the gun by posting a question without reading all the rules. Thank you for the run-down, fryke. Please forgive my stupidity. I will post what I have done to solve the problem, then not post anymore questions
So far, what I have done:
-I started out with Safari (still have it). The guy who designed our website, suggested I download Netscape 7.1 because I couldn't get any of the information to save on our website. -So I downloaded 7.2 (newer/better?) and it has been crashing every few minutes.
-Then I deleted all 7.2 files to install 7.1. Seemed to work, only this time it converted EVERYTHING on the site to html, whereas before there were menus so I could easily copy/paste text.
-I thought maybe the first version of 7.2 was corrupt (?) so I deleted 7.1 then started over with 7.2. Back to square one. Same problem with the unexpected quitting.
