I recently purchased a .Mac account and downloaded the Backup utility. I have no problem backing up vitals to my iDisk. I want to make a complete backup of my vitals onto DVD. I seem to be getting error messages when I attempt to burn at 4x, but when I lower to 2.4x is burn ok, but many of the disks I have tried (that have never been used before) don't work. Is there anything I can do to make these DVDs work properly? My total backup is 10 DVDs and the first backup got oup to about 5 DVD and bombed out. My HD is failing and needs to be replaced, that is why I am trying to backup my media as soon as I can.
