OK. I answered my own problem, sort of...when all else fails, reinstall Tiger.............now I have to be sure all my upgrades are there and I am still uneasy about going w/ 10.4.9 but that's my next endeavor...before I go w/CS3 (does it ever stop???) After trying a bunch of "quick fixes" I gave up and reinstalled. No problems now. Guess I should learn there's no quick fix like starting from the beginning! |
