Does the system get a DNS ip-number (or 2 or 3). Trye to ping (www.apple.com) something on the internet. If that fails, try ping APPLEs ip-number (look at next line).

PING www.apple.com.akadns.net (17.112.152.32): 56 data bytes
64 bytes from 17.112.152.32: icmp_seq=0 ttl=236 time=171.227 ms

If ping to the ip-number works, it should be an dns problem. Also you can try accessing a different wireless network and check out of that one works well. Try working with a cable connection. Disable all NETWORK options except the AIRPORT option (to be 100% sure that it will use AIRPORT for internet access).
