So after hours of experimenting....repairing permissions, clearing caches, removing faulty fonts... I still couldn't get mail to work properly.
As I had upgraded from Tiger and had quite an extensive mail library I decided to start from scratch and that has fixed my problem.
I created a new user for myself and have slowly migrated my settings and documents to this new user account and now mail is working fine. |
