| Install HP P1100 usb no devices found
I downloaded software for mac osx10.4.11 for an HP P1100 photojet. The HP setup Assistant runs, but when I get to select device and choose USB, no devices found message pops up in the box. I've turned the printer off and on, unplugged/plugged in the usb cable, unplugged/plugged in the power cord in many different combinations and I still cannot get this setup assistant to recognize the usb printer device. the computer sees the printer and will automatically install it using a gimp driver, but the problem is that I can't get utilities or adjust any print setting with this driver. Can anyone please tell me how I can get the computer to recognize the printer through the setup? Thanks |
