| Not sure this is in the right forum, but here goes. Not good news I'm afraid. I had a Quicksilver G4 which was exhibiting the same symptoms, though they were proceeded by a period where it would run for about 5 minutes before powering off.
After trying everything I could think of I had to come to the conclusion that it was basically dead. It is impossible even to run a hardware test so I suspected logic board at the very least. If you have a local Apple store it may be worth taking it in for them to take a look, but otherwise it is time to invest in a new one I'm afraid. |
