| Odd that you mention this icon issue as I just recently used SuperDuper for the 1st time to "clone" my iMacs HD to an external HD and noticed afterwards that the icons for a few image files (jpg) on my iMacs HD were missing (invisible against a white background) and all I could see was the text below where the icon should be.
I could launch the files and in the end just dragged them onto a 3rd Party app called "CocoThumbX" which fixed the problem.
(CocoThumX is a thumbnail creator amongst other things and I use it when my images have the generic thumbnail icon no matter what I do to change it in Finder.) |
