| Start by using DiskUtility on your start up DVD and repair the HD and permissions. Check the S.M.A.R.T. status of your hard drive, in case there is a hardware problem, by selecting the Drive (not the volume) and reading the disk description at the foot of the Disk utility window.
If that doesn't work try DiskWarrior, it usually clears up problems like this. |
