You DO need to provide a few more particulars! Model, OS, etc.

Start up with your install disk by holding down the "C" key. When started, navigate to Utilities-->Disk Utility in the menu bar at top. Run it after highlighting your HD.

This SHOULD fix it, but if not, make notes of the results and post here.
