| Try the pre-installed "Apple Script Utility". It's located in your Applications > AppleScript Folder. If you find yourself using it a lot, you can tell it to "Show Script Menu in Menu Bar" also. There are a few pre-made "Finder Scripts" for renaming in the Finder Scripts folder. They give you the options for find & replace as well as prefix or suffix.
Does the trick for my simple renaming needs, but I'm not sure just how many options you may need. |
