You can if the TV supports HDCP, as all new HDTVs do. Naturally, if you don't regularly replace your expensive electronics like a good little consumer, you don't matter.
This is why you should avoid anything with DRM: they can and will change the rules on you, and there's nothing you can do about it.
I guess this opens the door for Blu-ray support.
