Ditto.
I thought a new Mac Mini with nVidia graphics to bring it up to par with the MacBook was a given, really. I'm surprised it's taken even this long.
My current G4 Mac Mini is almost 4 years old now, which is the time when I no longer feel like a chump replacing a Mac.

My next Mac will probably be a Mac Mini, since I don't need a laptop, don't need a pro tower, and I certainly don't want an iMac (I'm through with all-in-ones; they just don't offer any advantages to someone like me). So I'm very interested in where the Mini is going.
Of course, I could always build my own PC and install OS X on it, EULA be damned (fair use!).

I hear it's not very hard these days. It's something I'll consider, at least.
But I wouldn't have bought a new Mini today anyway. I'll wait at least until we know more about Snow Leopard. I STILL expect a new Mac Mini sometime soon, and anytime before Snow Leopard will be soon enough for me. Apple made a lot of announcements after the expo last year, just on random Tuesdays. I remember because every little announcement got them another round of press coverage! It makes sense to spread out the announcements.
