Oh and yeah: Had you waited until now, you'd feel the same way the _next_ time they update the line.  It basically is always the same... And of course, things will change in the future. The next model will probably be better still...
About the battery: While the new one gets 7 hours (and it really _is_ a great battery), you get about 5 and you can buy another to get about 10 with a simple sleep-switch-battery-wakeup process inbetween. Depending on how mobile exactly you need to be, one or the other option is actually better.
