Well quit Safari. Then mosey to the folder /YourHardDrive/Users/YourUserName/Library/Preferences/ and find the file com.apple.Safari.plist and throw it into the Trash Can. Then BEFORE starting Safari up again go to /yourHardDrive/Library/Internet Plugins/ and make sure all you internet plugins are up to date and no old ones are still there.
Lastly do you have an Safari extenders installed like Pith, OnePassword, etc.?
