| Copy and paste what it actually says in the log at the time of the dropout, please. :-) It sounds a little like it might be an ISP problem, but we'd need to see the log entry to tell for sure.
Also, why are you rebooting? Does the modem stop working after the dropout, or does the system freeze, or what?
