Hey everyone,

Seems like a straight forward, normal, network, right? Nope.

We've got servers running Win2K and we want our Macs to move to Mac OS X. We're finding two main issues though....

1. User Password changes: Users, unless we use a rather elaborate work around or buy Dave, which we rather not do due to finances versus functionality, users are not able to change their passwords regularly, which we require.

2. File Permissions: Files coming off of the X machines seem to flip flop permissions and cause chaos on the server. Owners change and the like.

This is a critical upgrade for this environment, so I'd like any input you all may have. If you need any clerifications, let me know and I'll be glad to give you some!
