That is strange. In the first models of the Dual G5 (when the first came out) they had a problem with the heat sensor for the hard drives to far above the disks causing disk drive to overheat and fail. You can read about that at Xlr8yourmac.com. So, if your hard drives feel hot to the touch, most definitely call Apple support.
