| Adobe PostScript Required
I have the same problem with my 2100. I have it connected to my G4 tower with a parallel to USB adapter, and am unable to load drivers for the printer. I have found a utility that forces communication with the printer, but it will print gibberish on the first page and empty the paper tray.
I have just learned that the other models, such as the M & TN, have a 4MB DRAM module that has Adobe PostScript installed on it. I have ordered this module, and have yet to find out whether this will solve the problem or not, but I'll keep you informed. According to what I've read this should fix the problem. |
