| Make sure you have the most updated cd driver. Make sure Roxio Toast 5 works with your kind of cd drive.
remember that burning, if you get it to work, is going to be VERY slow and buggy. Make sure you have it create a test file first, and only burn from your computer's hard drive. Burn at 1 or 2x speed only.
