| I am thinking of buying an iPod... And I expect the sound-quality to be GOOD because it's an Apple product with good headphones and quality (As always for Apple). Is the sound quality good (except for the mp3 quality) Does the Pod reproduce nice sound? Can anybody with an iPod in their pocket and "bronze ears" tell me? |

| Sure I got my iPod like a week and a half ago... everyone is complaining about the hearphones... i dunno about that .. i never used them.. i use Sony headset...Sounds is great .. ilove it... and the 1000 songs Apple talks about are compressed at 160K usually MP3 are compressed at 128 K.. so .. if you have all 128 K MP3 ..you ll store more than 1000 songs... Sound Quality .. is Awesome for me.. just my 2 cents Hope this help

| I use Apple's provided earbuds, and they deliver EXCEPTIONAL sound quality, I will assure you. I am very surprised -- they are on par, if not better, than my old headphones, and I actually use them for my regular "headphones" now because they are actually more comfortable to me, and like I said, the sound is exceptional. If you're on the move a lot, you'll want to use these earbuds because they are small, and they work very well for what they were designed for.

| The sound quality would also depend on the bitrate the mp3s were encoded at. |

| great sound! Although those ear buds sound good, they keep falling out of my ears. The sound using an inexpensive Sony headset (MDR-023) is awesome and I miss the darned phone ringing all the time!
