Non-ppc applications work in Classic!

I tried starting up Clairis CAD and Clairis Emailer in Classic the other day and they both work! I thought that Classic wasn't supposed to support non-ppc applications.

I've been using Aldus PageMaker 5 and Word 5.1a in classic for awhile. I had never heard that you couldn't run non-ppc apps in classic. For the most part, if it runs in 9 it should run in classic (apps like VPC being the exception).

I had always heard that non-ppc apps wouldn't run in Classic, ever since OSX was first introduced.
