    Apple releasing new PDA

    Slashdot has a post here:

    http://slashdot.org/articles/02/01/03/0617223.shtml

about images of the new Apple PDA here:

    http://www.interfacestudio.net/iwalk/

This does not appear to be a fake, as the images are shown with someone actually using the device. 3 QT movies are also available for download. I don't imagine this site will be up for long so look while you can. I have a PDF file of the website saved on my HD. The device has design theme similar to the Ti Powerbook, iBook, and teh circle from the iPod.
    Mac Mini
2.0 GHz Intel Core2Duo, 4 GB RAM, LaCie BigDisk Extreme 500 GB HD, External Pioneer A109 DVD superdrive, External LiteOnLiter CD burner, iSight video camera, 5th generation 60 GB video iPod, 4th generation 40 GB iPod, 1st Generation iPod Touch, Philips 32" HDTV with HDMI input, KDS Radius 19" LCD Display, Mac OS X 10.6.7.

    They are fake. For sure!

I am not saying that Apple won't release a PDA, but the iWalk stuff is a fake!

    100%!

Cool Looks Fantastic but I question Authenticity!

Man this device looks amazing. I cant imagine any possible way for someone to create a video of this device actually working and being used. However a strange aspect of this unit is that it looks very similar to the iPod, which could be what Apples going for but you never know. Everything about this unit is realistic, except for the fact that if it was real, you would have thought Apple would have sent a cease and desist letter. As much as I want this unit, I have a strange feeling that its "Beyond the Rumor sites."

    Go here:

    http://www.macslash.com/comments.pl?...=thread&cid=81

    and check this

    http://www.fivestarstories.de/iwalkfake.html

The finger first is UNDER the scroll wheel (there is no gap between the scroll wheel and the device, so it is edited) and in the very next frame (actually, both pics are two frames directly next to each other in the timeline) it is OVER the wheel, casts a shadow on it which was missing before and the wheel turned 45°! Before, the finger touched the wheel for about 0.3 seconds without having ANY impact on it.

    It's a fake.

    More tidbits from the grapevine...

    Consider this:

    "Big, even for our standards"
"Count the days, count the minutes, count on being blown away"
"Beyond the rumour sites, way beyond"
"A backstage pass to the future"

Apple will become a whole-owned subsidiary of Micro$oft. OS X for intel will be released and Windows XP will be discontinued at the advice of the NSA. IBM will purchase Intel and discontinue the x86 architecture in favor of the PowerPC architecture. The G6 will be released at 3.1 THz with a eight 512-bit IBM-designed Altivec units. Motorola files for Chapter 11 Bancruptsy protection. iMacs will have the new G5 chip running at 1.8 GHz.

This is all FACT, I tell you, all true!!! I heard it from the RUMOR sites, and I BELIEVE THEM...
