mac.com email

Is it me or all of you cant access their mail box at mac.com.

It was fine all this while, now it is complaining about worng userid/password.
Anyone else having this problem now?

I've been getting the same thing from time to time over the last couple days also. I don't think it has to do with just your account. Apple may be having problems with their mail servers.

On an up note, I have not gotten any mail back that I sent to mac.com addresses with "undeliverable mail" errors, so anything that was sent to you is most likely still sitting there.

is your SMTP authentication on?

if not, turn it on.

I don't use the mac.com's SMTP server, I use my own. The error had to do with POP, but it's fixed now.
