You should try Mozilla (or Netscape) with the MRJ plug in.
They work great together. Can be found on versiontracker.
I agree the old icon for Onmiweb looked much nicer! BUT I love the speed of this browser and the look of it! They really improved the speed issue.
I can not connect to any java chat rooms! Do I have to download any additional software? how do I get the windows media player into the plug ins?
Thank you for your help!

Frankly, I don't use Java chat rooms a whole lot, so...
Everything else about the browser works fine. They've sped it WAY up since 4.0. And I really only use Java for whiteboards, and it works fine.
Omniweb 4.1 is my default browser.![]()

So using Java is supporting Microsoft and Mozilla, ie. AOL !!!
Double Evil !!! Burn !!!
I'm having great fun with this browser war I think.
PS: Chimera won't bore you with Java. Am I stubborn ?LOL

No, actually, if we don't support Java, we're going to end up with some whacked out MS language known as C#.
MS tried to kill Java once but it didn't work. Just like Mozilla, it keeps chuggin along.
I downloaded Chimera again, .30, and it hasn't crashed yet!
Last time I downloaded .30, it crashed twice within 5 minutes. Off the Dock and into the trash it went!
Chimera is the Devil because apparently it has Netscape employees working on it!
Mozilla = Chimera = Netscape = AOL = The Devil!!
I guess the only safe *brazier* is the one my girl friend wears!!
Java DOESN'T work in IE.
At least not some chatrooms I tried.
They work flawlessy in Mozilla.
