Apple Camera

I am about to get a digital camera. But I was wondering if anyone thinks (or has heard anything) about Apple making a digital camera. The iPod is so amazing that it Apple made a camera, and it was up to the iPod quality I would have to get it.

That would be pretty cool but if you're in the market now, I'd say you wouldn't want to wait. If there are any plans at all, it's probably in the long distance range. I wouldn't be at all surprised if Apple fills out the digital hub (aka competes with everything Sony has to offer) but one thing at a time. They'll get Jaguar out, get G5s out, then work on a new device.

Remember that when Apple does release a dital camera, it will have a 20 gigabite hard drive, do photos and videos (iPhoto/iMovie) but it will also be $1 or $2 grand. People will bitch and moan that Apple hardware is too expensive and others will point out how much you get for the buck and ultimately we will see that Apple will never be able to make everyone happy.

Point being, don't start saving your pennies until you actually see it and decide for yourself if it's right for you.
