| I can't take it anymore ... What is this for? Someone please tell me what the "Go to:" field at the bottom of some applications' open files navigation window is for and how do you use it? :-P

| If I were to open Quicktime and go to the open window, I could type "/Users/wdw_/Movies/Austin Powers 3.avi" instead of navigating through the folders.

| OK, I guess I was just entering the nav info incorrectly. Is there a way to switch from one drive to another? It seems to only search the main drive.

| I think its like "/volumes/(insert name of volume)/library" etc.

| while we're on it... what on earth is 'services' and why can't i ever select anything from this menu? i assume i could select text and go to services-speak text, but noooo, it's never selectable.

| it apparently isn't covered by a lot of apps, its sposed to do something useful but it doesn't.
