iTunes Phone Driver 1.0

This showed up in Software Update today (or was it yesterday?). Could it be part of the fun new products that are coming?

iTunes 4.9 or later features the ability to transfer music to mobile phones. This driver is required for iTunes to communicate with these supported mobile phones.

According to the description - it seems to be targeted at more than one phone.

I think there are a couple of phones out already that use iTunes.

Lost in the desert apparently. It is the first I noticed it, though I keep up with system updates - 10.4.5 and all - I can't remember seeing this in software update before today. Granted, there are somethings that I haven't updated (don't have a use for the video on my 30gig 5g ipod so iTunes is still 6.0.2), so if it's been out since the ROKR was introduced, I just ignored it.

Oh well - my mobile doesn't know any more music than the sultry sounds of my melodious vocal cords.
