Universal FCP out already?

I heard that they're now shipping the Universal upgrades to Final Cut Pro. Apple's site was very cryptic and just said "Shipping in March 2006". Does anyone know if it is true or not?

Yea, universal versions of pro apps were scheduled for release in March (announced in the MWSF keynote). Maybe today then, it's tuesday after all

Heh... it's still Monday for another 4 hours in Cupertino, though!

Well I've read that they're expected to be shipping before March 31, so if they're not shipping now there's not much more of a wait.

Seems that today is the day... Final Cut Pro 5.1, a Universal Binary, is quietly shipping:

Yeah, I saw that today, thanks. They're calling it 5.1 but I think the only difference is that it's Universal. I'm still deciding whether to buy a MacBook Pro or not. This has tipped the argument more towards the "for" camp
