So is this going to be serious competition for the ibook and powerbook? Will we get ibooks and powerbooks by mid '03 with 8 hour battery life?

So this means, intel laptops will be slower in performance, and get the same battery life as an ibook? We've had 6 hour battery life for how long now?

i use both PCs and Macs (have both, non-biased), belieave me, this will have NO effect on apple. This type of thing will be used in Tablet PCs probably (did it say that in the artical? didn't read it)
No PC user likes going so far down in MHz/GHz.
