Talking 12" MacBook Pro Core 2 Duo

Anyone go any info if this is going to be a reality soon?
MacBook has weak graphics and MacBook Pro is a tank. It would be nice to see a 12" MacBook Pro!

I wouldn't keep your hopes up, Apple has already released a 15" and 17" models - previously, the 12" was released with the 17". They consider the MacBook Pro a professional machine, and they think "professionals" need more than a 12" screen, apparently. The MacBook is meant for PowerBook 12" users. Making a 12" MacBook Pro would take sales away from the MacBooks, and from the more expensive MacBook Pro 15" and 17" models. They may come out with one, but I doubt it.

DeltaMac will become famous soon enough
The 12-inch PowerBook is mostly an iBook in an aluminum case.
Apple repairs the 12-inch through the same facility as the iBook. What does that tell you?
The PowerBook 12-inch never had significantly better video than the iBook of the same generation, other than the option to display extended video.
The MacBook provides that standard, now.
More likely, there will be a micro-book of some kind, but the 12-inch is gone, replaced by the MacBook.

and although the intel GMA chipset is rubbish, as we all know, it's only rubbish compared to a bloody 7800gt or something. i've seen Mac Books play Half Life 2 very nicely.

To be honest, if you need a super powered 3D graphics card like the one in the Macbook Pros, would you want a 12" display?
