Question Adobe Breaking it's Tradition?

http://www.adobe.com/products/atmosp...ystemreqs.html

Read the About Mac ... Notice this program is not made for Mac yet... Shame on them.

A version for Classic was offered early in the beta process, but now it's gone. I think they pulled it to focus on OS X compatability.

Either way, I wouldn't get worked up over it. Atmosphere is an idea/technology, who's time has passed. I don't think it will go anywhere...

I'd be more peeved at Adobe Photoshop Album, which is PC only. Also, Adobe will probably make the next version of Premiere PC only too, since Final Cut Express has muscled in on Adobe's NLE Apple sales.

I agree... but it's sorta like a backstab... and it kinda of stinks... I mean... Here a product use to be 100% in Apple's favor... and now they are like... "Screw Apple... Let's join the Intel/Wintel line... and lets forget who helped build our initial base and roots..." To this kind of corporate philiosphy... I say... "%^$ You! We helped build you... We can easily stop supporting you... Have a nice life etc."

Just my view... Sorry folks for the rant.

I was sorely disappointed about this, because I think Adobe "picked up" the technology from somewhere else, and put it out for Windows, but then a half-year later abandoned it becuase it didn't take off...Well of COURSE it didnt take off, because they neglected to give it to thier most loyal segment (Graphic Artists on the Mac).

BONEHEADS!

My point is we'll never know, because in my opinion, the Mac would have been what made Atmosphere's great.

It's all moot now, since Adobe is practically sweeping it under the rug. Im moving on too.

Check out http://macweb3d.org/ if you are at all interested in 3d web technolgies for the mac.
