I think that TV will work great and they'll sell at least a bunch... in big terms.

I know I will buy one just after I finally decide to get a plasma HD TV.

Forget plasma and just buy an LCD TV. Better life span, no burn-in, less heat, and the new LCDs have just as good contrast and response as the plasmas of 1-2 years ago. Oh yea, a few hundred $$$ cheaper too.
