| Actually, I know quite a few people who use their iPods for music, podcasts and audiobooks. One of my friends even has two or three of those games. So that's not the issue. The issue is a disconnect between Apple's advertising (AppleTV and iPods with movies and TV series) and what's really available in the world outside the US. Yes, they have changed the advertising so they don't actually mention buying movies or TV series on iTunes outside the US, but that's not how the global stuff works. It's sad, but that's how it is. Until iTunes sells moving pictures internationally, the hardware is either used with material illegally downloaded "somewhere else" or with material you've (possibly illegally, depends on your nation's laws) transcoded yourself.

| My guess it would be 2008, the release date for Asia. I know Australia is not Asia, but it is the closest to it geographically.

| I use podcasts all the time! THat's mainly what I use my iPod for nowadays, especially with the podcast subscriptions. That way they're automatically downloaded for me. When I've listened to all of them, I just put on some music until a new podcast is available to listen to. ![]()
