QT 7.2 (fullscreen!), iTunes 7.3.1 released

Apple has released the two updates via Software Update (and on their website). QuickTime 7.2 finally has fullscreen-playback for mere mortals, too, i.e. no Pro version required anymore.

hehe. i'm a longtime qt pro user myself, but i always thought it was daft to claim fullscreen *playback* as a pro feature.

I bought QT 7 Pro for full-screen playback and video/audio recording, so it's not much use to me, since I anyway already had fullscreen all along.

What does the iTunes update do?

VLC has more compatibility features... it's not as well integrated into the system than QT, but it's so much more versatile.

I'd love them to add a crop feature to QuickTime like VLC has, then I can set it to 16:10 and watch things full screen.

Nice,
Now I don't have to explain to my grandma or anyone else that I've managed
to switch over to Mac, why they need to fork out extra dough to view
movies in full screen
