| Apple makes a move Apple buys the CUPS printing system. This is an unexpected move and has shocked the open source community with this move and they are a little worried. I am just wondering what this means in Leopard?

| I am surprised that it shocked the FLOSS community... it is under GPL and FLOSS can always fork it if they want to.

| Apple bought the source code to CUPS and hired its creator back in February of this year.

| Personally, I'm a little worried but I hope it's for naught. I would hate to see Apple pull something underhanded to the open source community that is supporting it with much of the technologies it enjoys as well as some decent software.
