For the non-German speaking, you pay your iPhone €999.- and have it freed from any SIM-lock through iTMS in 24 hours.
Of course, you only reach the services that your provider makes available... or use WiFi !

over here, the cheapest you can legitimately buy an iPhone for is about £899 (£269+£35/month for 18 months). €999 is £770.

Reading that it will be around 500 Euro (more, but clearly less than 1000 Eur) in France, makes the T-Mobile offer of a free iPhone still look like a total rip off.

I'm so happy that there's an iPhone without contract - because I have a Mobilcom Austria contract, and when the iPhone comes to Austria with T-Mobile (already announced officially), I wouldn't be able to buy it.
But 999 Euros for the unlocked version!!! Now I'm not so sure anymore... Well, I anyway had an eye on that new Nokia phone...
