Yes, it appears to be a 10 minute job with the Ram. I was having flash backs of putting a new DC-IN board in on this ibook..never want to do that again!

I am downloading it now. 20mb at 4.8kb/s dial up.. that will keep me going for a while. Its a good thing the Ibook has a modem built in!

It appears as if the video card is the reason the 2nd macbook pro is that much more expensive. A $500 jump because of .1 Ghz increase, 50 gig HD increase and the video card is twice the size.

What type of games would you be playing with that 512mb memory card?

Well, I waited and Apple updated the mac book pro line just like I predicted.

Now which one should I get??

Thought about the $2000 one, but for another $800 I can upgrade the hard drive, .4ghz faster processor and better "stuff"

or for $900 just get a mac book.

Decisions Decisions!
