12% of American Households own Mac
The Mac owning households increased by 2 percentage points in the past year to 12%. Also, 85% of Mac owners also owned a Windows desktop while for the reverse the number was only 29%
Could mean that in most households,. Mac is the second computer..

Statistics are always good. The last time I made for this house was .. umm 2005 or 2006 I think. Which were... 6 people, of which: 1 right-handed person, everyone with at least 1 Mac (and no peecees at the house a that time), 15 iPods in the house... Interesting statistics Giaguara. At my last count there were five people in my house. Of course one in five people in the world are Chinese. That must mean than someone in my house is Chinese.
I don't think it's my mum. I don't think it's my brother Kevin. It could be my younger brother Yin Li Xi.
But no, I think it's Kevin.

Here 4 Macs, 1 PC. And I have no idea how many iPods.
My current machine is an iMac Core 2 Duo 2.16 GHz 24" and a MacBook Pro 13" with MacOS X 10.6. My oldest Apple was born in 1977.

I've got two Macs (Quadra 650 and iMac G5) and a good number of PCs. But then I probably don't count as the "average household."
• Apple iMac G5 17" (2 GHz G5) - Mac OS X 10.5.8/Ubuntu 10.04
• Asus Eee PC 901 (1.6 GHz Atom N270) - Fedora 13
• Apple Macintosh Quadra 650 (33 MHz MC68040) - Mac OS 8.1
• "JHVH-1" (2 GHz AMD Athlon XP 2400+) - Slackware 13.1
