...not the sharpest knife in the drawer...
That's strange that they'd do it that way instead of live. You'd think that streaming it afterwards would be a much bigger load on their servers because everyone would be watching from different points in the webcast instead of all watching the same thing.

It makes sence, they use Akamai servers for streaming so they don't have to worry about server load. Plus it defeats the purpose for charging what they do to see the keynote in person if they offer it as a live broadcast.
shouldnt apple be using their own x serve?
does anyone use a xserve?
