hi, i'd like to know: is there any apple e-mail adress where i can write to????? i'd like to make some suggestions and questions about apple products.....
on of those questions iss, why it isn't a backlite keyboard for the new g4 ibook???? i think it would be great!!

Well, here is Apple's contact page with various phone numbers and addresses.

I can probably say that the iBook is a consumer-level machine, and Apple wants to keep the price down. Adding a backlit keyboard would easily add more than one hundred dollars to the price, and is probably the same reason they omitted the PC Card slot, DVI video out and a number of other features found on the PowerBooks.

there is the backlight for the 17" (and maybe 15"?) .. check that specific issue in http://www.apple.com/store (clicking on powerbooks) .. the general feedback:

He specifically mentioned the iBook, of which there is no backlit keyboard option.

You are correct in saying that the 17" and 15" PowerBooks have a backlit keyboard, though. Quite a cool feature, if you ask me! I used one at CompUSA and got the salesman to let me try one out in a darkened store room. VERY cool.
