LaCie has announced it will begin shipping in December a FireWire 800 PCMCIA card, allowing users to add an incredibly fast dual-interface to their Mac or PC laptop. By adding two external FireWire 800 ports and one FireWire 400 port to your current laptop computer, the LaCie FireWire 800 PC Card will give you the ability to transfer your data up to 800 Mbits/sec (400 Mbits/sec with FireWire 400).
