| iPodminis in Europe in April I asked Apple UK about the iPodminis, and got an answer; Quote:
If anyone in UK wants an iPod mini before the end of the 1st week of March, I might be able to help getting one... ![]() |

| I heard they will cost 130 GBP, which is a shocker! For once we wouldn't be getting STUNG, and paying way over the odds... Whether that comes to fruition tho, is another point. ![]()

| I heard between 140-160 GBP. Either way, maybe Apple will begin to look at restructuring it's pricing model for Europe. Maybe figure out a way to modify it's distribution channels to reduce costs for those of us living in Europe. I know that the iPod in Germany is inflated about 25% in cost, that is not an excuse for the iPod 40gb model to come in at around 545 Euro!

| Before the high end iPods were 649 euros .. just a year ago (2nd gen 20 G). Now iSight .. 149 $ > 119 GBP > 169 euro So I hope 298 $ will NOT > 235 GBP > 335 euro That would be far more than the US price - and for the cheapest model.. maybe reorganizing the European distribution channels can do something to reduce the cost. If not, just open a niiice little Apple Store in London, Paris, Barcelona, Berlin, Milan and Stockholm. That would pretty far cover all the language markets ![]() |

Also, according to the financial reports by Apple, sales in Europe have increased quite significantly (40%) if I remember correctly.
