More network/server weirdness

When I use the "connect to Server" feature of OSX, my machine shows up under "Local Network" 7 (!!!) times, each as a different IP address. And...another OSX box that I have (which shows up fine under the OS9 chooser) doesn't show up at all.

What the "h" - "e" - double toothpicks is going on?
