| CD-RW burning/mounting problems
CD-RW's burn just fine from the Finder on my iBook 2001. However, when I'm done burning and the burning progress bar disappears, there's usually a long delay before the new disk mounts and I can read it. Furthermore, when I've erased CD-RW's with the Disk Utility app (why didn't Apple program erasing into the Finder? At least they included quick erase, unlike OS 9), Disk Utility tells me that it can't unmount the CD-RW that it's about to erase, although it then merrily goes on to erase the disk anyway. Anyone having similar problems, or do I have a problem with my installation?  |
