Script for adding aiff extensions to huge amount of audio files

Hi,
I'm in a desperate need for an Apple script that allows me to open a folder and add .aiff extensions to a huge amount of audio files that don't have any extension (just the name).
Please, can someone out there help me?
Thank you very much in advance,

Carlo

What about using Automator?

Or, perhaps using one of the thousands of batch-renaming utilities available for Mac OS X?

Script for adding extension to files without any extension

well,
I tried some of the programs listed on the page, but I didn't manage to do what I wanted. Some of them are not working under tiger (I'm still with 10.4.11) or simply don't have the "add extension" function..
I wasn' able to use automator for my needings.
I believe it's better to learn how to write apple scripts or do things using Unix language through the terminal..
thank you anyway..
