| Script for adding aiff extensions to huge amount of audio files
Hi, I'm in a desperate need for an Apple script that allows me to open a folder and add .aiff extensions to a huge amount of audio files that don't have any extension (just the name). Please, can someone out there help me? Thank you very much in advance, Carlo |

What about using Automator? Or, perhaps using one of the thousands of batch-renaming utilities available for Mac OS X? http://www.versiontracker.com/php/qs...cosx&submit=Go

| Script for adding extension to files without any extension
well, I tried some of the programs listed on the page, but I didn't manage to do what I wanted. Some of them are not working under tiger (I'm still with 10.4.11) or simply don't have the "add extension" function.. I wasn' able to use automator for my needings. I believe it's better to learn how to write apple scripts or do things using Unix language through the terminal.. thank you anyway.. |
