MacBook Pro, NAS and an AppleTV

I have a MacBook Pro, but due to the size of the hard disk i have half my iTunes library on my MBP (music) and half my iTunes library on my NAS (movies). The NAS is connected to my wireless router and a "toggle" between the iTunes libraries using the Option key when loading.

From what i've read, i understand that my MBP needs to be running iTunes for the AppleTV to be able to sync my movies (or even stream them), and i assume that this will still work even if my iTunes library is located on my NAS. However, what happens if i switch between my iTunes libraries? Will the AppleTV try to re-sync with the library currently being used by my MBP?
