Whoa, that was a good idea.

The closest I've got to that was plugging in an old Pro Mouse and an old SE mouse into my iMate, no optical though!

Well, ddma have you seen it in real life?

A few things, real or not, do not make sense to me in that picture. Why the circular hole if its optical? Why the grips to take off the cover?

The current pro mouse has neither a circular hole or grips to maitenence the optical machenery.

fake, no shadow for a start, plus wouldn't the red light from the optical part shine on the camera taking the photo? At least show some sort of light colouring in the casing?

Just looks like someone pasted a circle selection from another pic, sorry.:confused:

when i look at the bottom of my optical mouse, i don't see a shadow when it's "lit up"... when the red light dims down, i see a shadow...

and no, there wouldn't be any light reflecting off the camera lens

Doesn't have a big hole with a cavity as this ol' Apple mouse!

Anyway, just sayin', the first thing that came to my mind the second I saw the image was, photoshop work!;)

Never mind.
